This is a comic strip that my longtime friend Eve Asher and I created together, about our experiences navigating sleep with mental illness. Eve has depression, and she can't wake up in the morning. I have anxiety, and I can't fall asleep at night. The comic was published in The New Yorker's Daily Shouts column on August 1, 2017.
